My sweetie’s birthday is coming up and this is one of my presents to him, being that he’s as hardcore an Edward Elric fangirl as I am. I let him have a peek at my first sketch and the reaction was greater than I expected, so I hope I didn’t ruin it too much with my crappy coloring job. Happy birthday, sweetie. You get Ed's bum. ^_^
You may or may not believe this, but this blatant piece of fanservice initially began as a study of Ed’s automail, as seen here: [link] --- Sketched and finished in Photoshop with references from the manga for the automail arm and leg. I totally wasn't prepared with a neat-sounding title, so Sakura - Automail Study is all you get for now. >.< I'll change it later when I think of a better name. Edward Elric, his automail, and his butt are all copyright Hiromu Arakawa (can you copyright a butt?). |
